Precision Engineered Stainless Steel Angles & Channels
Since 1998, Ambani Metals has manufactured and exported high-integrity stainless steel angles and channels designed for critical structural, marine, chemical processing, and architectural applications. Our structural profiles are engineered to deliver superior load-bearing capacity, elevated yield strength, and exceptional resistance to acidic, chloride-rich, and maritime atmospheres.
We supply hot-rolled, cold-drawn, and laser-fused structural sections in both equal and unequal leg configurations. Utilizing advanced laser fusion welding, we produce heavy-wall and custom-dimensioned profiles with full penetration welds and sharp corner radii, offering engineers unmatched flexibility in structural design without the distortion typically associated with conventional welding.
All materials are procured with complete 100% heat traceability from premier primary mills. Every batch complies strictly with ASTM A276, ASTM A479, and EN 10088-3 specifications, accompanied by comprehensive EN 10204 3.1 Mill Test Certificates.
Equal & Unequal Angles
Manufactured from 20x20mm up to 200x200mm, with thicknesses from 2mm to 20mm. Available in hot-rolled, cold-drawn, and pickled finishes for symmetrical or eccentric structural bracing.
C & U Structural Channels
Standard and custom web heights and flange widths for heavy framing, process equipment skids, marine raceways, and architectural curtain-wall support systems.
Laser-Fused Technology
Advanced laser fusion enables the production of oversized, sharp-cornered, or differential-thickness structural sections with full structural integrity and negligible thermal distortion.

Certified Compliance for Demanding Environments
Structural reliability depends on strict metallurgical control and accurate geometry. Our production facilities maintain rigorous quality gates across every processing stage, ensuring straightness tolerances within 1.5mm per meter and camber deviations well within ASTM A484 limits.
In acidic, maritime, and oilfield applications, stress-corrosion cracking and pitting represent significant operational hazards. Ambani Metals offers optimized low-carbon (304L/316L) and dual-certified structural angles and channels passivated to remove all traces of free iron, guaranteeing rapid formation of a self-healing chromium oxide passive film.
Every consignment is checked for dimensional accuracy, corner radius compliance, leg angularity, and web flatness prior to final sign-off. Third-party inspection (TPI) by agencies such as DNV, Bureau Veritas, Lloyd's Register, and SGS is routine at our production facility.

Frequently Asked Questions
Technical guidance for engineers, estimators, and international procurement specialists.
Angle vs Channel structural selection
Stainless steel channels (C & U shapes) offer higher moment of inertia and flexural stiffness along the major axis compared to angles of equivalent linear weight, making them the preferred choice for horizontal beams, equipment base rails, raceways, and skid perimeters. Angles (L-shapes) are primarily optimized for tension/compression diagonal bracing, flange stiffeners, truss members, and right-angle mounting brackets.
Grade 304 versus 316 selection
Grade 304 (18/8 Cr-Ni) provides high mechanical strength and cost-effective corrosion resistance for indoor structural framing, cleanrooms, architectural installations, and light chemical processing. Grade 316 contains 2.0% to 3.0% molybdenum, which radically increases resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion in seawater, coastal offshore structures, de-icing salts, and acidic industrial exhaust environments.
Laser fusion vs hot rolling
Laser fusion welding allows the fabrication of non-standard dimensions, sharp 90-degree internal and external corners, and varied web/flange thickness combinations that cannot be produced by traditional hot rolling. The concentrated, low heat-input laser beam produces monolithic joint strength with 100% penetration, negligible grain coarsening, and minimal warping.
Testing and certification documentation
Every export shipment includes EN 10204 Type 3.1 Inspection Certificates specifying complete melt heat numbers, ladle chemical analysis, mechanical property test data (tensile, yield, elongation, hardness), intergranular corrosion test results (ASTM A262), and positive material identification (PMI) verification.
Custom cut lengths and packaging
Yes. We provide precision bandsaw and CNC cold-saw cutting to tight tolerances (±1mm). For international shipping, profiles are nested, wrapped with moisture-proof VCI corrosion-inhibiting paper, strapped in high-strength steel bands, and crated in heat-treated ISPM-15 compliant timber cases designed for crane handling.
